Group Therapy
Group Counseling is an option for several individuals to meet together regarding common concerns, facilitated with a mental health professional. This dynamic allows a reduced stress environment with openness and supportive feedback for those in the group.
Fathers with Newborns Group
This group focuses on creating a community of fathers who have a child/children who are newborn to the age 2. This community is built so fathers can ask questions, share concerns, difficulties and emotions, as well as build a network of men who can increase their comfort in sharing with others. The group is open to fathers to attend all meetings, or attend as able to join. Groups will take place weekly on Mondays at 8pm CST on a virtual platform.
Dungeons and Dragons Role-Play Group
Dungeons and Dragons is a role-playing game in which individuals work together to conquer and defeat scenarios given to them by a narrator (in this group, the narrator will be the counselor). Each individual creates a character unique to their own mind and creativity, to interact with the world the narrator illustrates, building skills to regulate emotions and improve social skills. Groups will be offered in-person weekly on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8pm, with enrollment open to teens ages 13-17. Group will open for enrollment, though once filled, the group will not be available until the next group rotation.
Marvel Role-Play Group
Marvel Role-Play is a game in which individuals work together to conquer and defeat scenarios given to them by a narrator (in this group, the narrator will be the counselor) while playing as your favorite Marvel Superhero or a unique character creation of their own to interact with the world the narrator illustrates. The groups will focus on building skills for understanding and regulating emotions and improving social skills. Groups will be offered in-person weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8pm, with enrollment open to teens ages 13-17. Group will open for enrollment, though once filled, the group will not be available until the next group rotation.
